Exam Results 2022
Schools are measured on the results achieved by students across a suite of 8 qualifying subjects including English, maths and science.
Headline figures are published in the below categories (please not no data was published during the Covid-19 pandemic when no external examinations took place). Centre Assessed Grades (2020) and Teacher Assessed Grades (2021) replaced official published data during the pandemic.
Published Benchmarks:
Attainment 8: the average number of the grades achieved by students in total.
Progress 8: the average of the progress students made towards the target they were expected to achieve (based on KS2 SATS). A score of ‘P8 0’ means they achieved that target. For a number of reasons, students don’t always achieve this – which is why an individual’s circumstances should be taken into account.
Basics 4+/5+: the percentage of students achieving a grade 4 or 5 in both English and maths
EBACC: the percentage of students entering the English Baccalaureate suite of qualifications.
NEETS: the percentage of students not entering employment, education or training post-16
