For admissions into Newsome Academy, parents and guardians must follow the Kirklees Council admission process.

Applications for entry to the year 7 cohort in 2025/26 should be received by October 31st 2024.

Appeals
In the event of your application being unsuccessful, then the appeals process can be found in our Admissions Policy and Appeals Process documentation below.
All appeals should be submitted in writing, with all information you wish to include, to office@newsomeacademy.co.uk before the deadline specified in your decision letter.
