End of Term Letter
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the final week of term, we want to thank you all for your support this year. It has been an action-packed one so we hope you have been following all the fantastic events on our Twitter feed @NewsomeAcademy.
Seasonal Arrangements
Next week, we hope to see you at the Christmas Candlelight Concert on Wednesday 14th December (doors open at 5pm) with stalls and refreshments.
The concert will begin at 6pm and finish at 7pm. A perfect opportunity to get in to the Christmas spirit! On Tuesday 13th December our canteen will be serving Christmas Dinner and on our last day Friday 16th December 2022, we will be taking part in the National Christmas Jumper Day, where we are inviting students to join us by coming to school in something Christmas themed.
This is a non-uniform day so students do not need to wear their usual school uniform. We just ask that students donate £1 which will go towards supporting ‘Save the Children as part of the national campaign. The donations will be collected via parent pay.
On Friday 16th December, we will be hosting our whole school Christmas gathering after which students will be able to go home. Students will have an early lunch and will finish at 12.30pm.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful festive period with your loved ones.
