The Headteacher personally sends (email, text & X Post) a weekly update on what’s happening in school to support our families. All these are located in the Half-Term drop-down boxes below.
Families are responsible for informing us if their details have changed or if they notice they are not receiving our (very) regular communication home.

In addition to the weekly updates we use X to post daily updates on what’s happening around our wonderful Academy. The Headteacher also posts videos and images for those who want a greater insight into our school life. For those families that don’t want/have the X App, the posts are fed directly onto our newsfeed which is located at the very bottom of our homepage. Our official X account is: @NewsomeAcademy

Our School Councillors held a Dragons Den style presentation with some of our local councillors today and they were AMAZING! They presented areas they’d like to improve in our local area and wowed the councillors. They were successful in being granted £500 towards their project🤩
